Producer, composer, filmmaker, musician, philanthropist, creative director, and Grammy winner are a few of Levin's titles. However, it's his role as am artistic catalyst that distinguishes him from the pack. Levin is globally recognized for his diverse contributions to the music industry, but it's how he has altered the cultural rules of art that make him distinct. From Venezuela to Berklee College and Julliard, New York City to Cuba, Levin has remained unwavering in two ideals: realize the creative potential in everything and convert each experience into a fresh form of artistic expression.

Since the age of seven Levin was surrounded by his father's synthesizers and tape machines, and became quickly enthralled with recording and performing. An internship with famed producer and composer Nile Rogers jumpstarted a career that has spanned musical genres and eradicated cultural, social and artistic boundaries.

Producing artists such as Tina Turner, Gladys Knight and Chaka Khan was only Levin's introduction to the business of music. Personifying a rare soulful and entrepreneurial nature, Levin quickly branched out and exploded onto the Latin music scene, producing Grammy nominated tracks and albums for acclaimed artists such as Caetano Veloso, Miguel Bose, and David Byrne. His combination of unrestricted vision with progressive sound quickly alerted the world to Levin's unmistakable talents.

Levin's vision began to manifest itself with his full production credit for two of the Red Hot Organization's famed AIDS fundraising albums, the introduction of his band Yerba Buena, and an overarching multi-cultural awareness within the arts. His work in Hollywood, on major motion pictures and popular televisions shows, and on Broadway (winning his first Grammy award for the In the Heights cast album) was an organic next step in his career. Over the years, he has built a versatile discography that includes Natalie Merchant, John Legend, D' Angelo -- emblematic of his ability to work across cultural, social, and artistic boundaries. His artistic globe trotting has led him to produce albums in Colombia, Lisbon, Bahia, Nigeria, Cuba, Venezuela, Japan and Mexico, to name a few.

Levin's extensive access to the most successful global talent and his knack for energetic and effective communication have blown open the doors to another industry altogether: advertising. A passion for positively affecting the world and an ability to find the common denominator has led him to work with some of the world's most recognized brands this year alone, including Heineken, Dr. Pepper, Cablevision, Miller and Pepsi. Levin consistently develops eye-opening and soul-stirring content for general market and Latin agencies, brands and record labels seeking revitalization and renewal.

Continuing his mission to invoke change, Levin has built a bridge between the entertainment industry and philanthropy at his latest venture, Music Has No Enemies. Found by Levin in 2008, the organization aims to usher the entertainment industry in a new direction: creating visual and musical content that helps develop the mission of a non-profit or social cause. Partnering with Amnesty International for "The Price of Silence", creating the Obama support video, Podemos con Obama, and organizing the highly anticipated "Field of Dreams" concert in Brooklyn, NY in July 2010 are only some of the recent projects Levin has lent his talent to.
